Easy make ahead Waffle Mix

I recently purchased a waffle stick maker at a yard sale, I have never made waffles before so I was completely new to the world of waffle making. However I have come to learn that in most cases waffle mix is the same as pancake mix.

 

I like to make my mix in bulk so that it's faster for me later.

Here is the mix I use I store mine in a large glass jar that use to hold pickles.

Bulk Waffle Mix

6 cups of all purpuse flour
3/8 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking powder
2 tsp salt

Mix dry ingredients together and place in reusable container.

Wet ingredients:

1 egg
1 cup Milk
3 tbsp Vegetable Oil

Directions:

Place 1 1/2 cups of dry ingredients in a bowl and add wet ingredients. 
Mix well. 
Cook and enjoy.  

Tip if you like a little more flavor you can add a little cinnamon to the dry ingredients before adding the wet.
Again you can also use this recipe for pancakes.
